We are a student group within SHPE concerned with the perception and experience of visiting international communities regarding UPRM and Puerto Rico.

To be eligible you must:
Be a undergraduate and regular student at RUM
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or more
Have knowledge and proficiency in the language of the host country and/or English
You can participate for one semester or one academic year
1 semester - $ 4,000*
1 year - $ 8,000*
*Covers tuition, administrative fees, housing, meals, orientation and general services
Deadlines for submitting the documentation:
January 20 - 1st semester
August 20 - 2nd semester
Participation fee - $390.00
International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP)
National Student Exchange Program (NSE)
Around 200 universities in USA
To be eligible you must:
Be a undergraduate and regular student at RUM
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or more
Have knowledge and proficiency in English
You can participate for one semester or one academic year
Payment plan:
Plan A - Pay tuition at the host university as a resident student
Plan B - Pay tuition in RUM
*Food and housing are paid in the host university
Deadlines for submitting the documentation:
February 15 - 1st semester
October 30 - 2nd semester
Participation fee - $200.00 non-refundable
9 universities
To be eligible you must:
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or more
Be a undergraduate or graduate student
Be a regular student at RUM
Exchange costs will be paid at the host university
*For some tuition is paid in RUM
Courses are recommended by the academic advisor
Deadlines to deliver documentation varies by each university
Participation fee - $ 100.00 non-refundable

What do we do?
This program seeks to enrich diversity and culture by creating a network of international students promoting the following:
Organizing social, cultural, academic, and community service activities.
Promoting RUM exchange programs to position "El Colegio" as a top destination for exchange programs globally.
Diversifying our community.

Our activities include leadership development, social networking, and cultural enrichment by visiting Puerto Rico's touristic venues.

Exchange programs are intended to give students a vehicle through which they can develop academically, socially and culturally in a different academic environment. In this way students will live experiences that will enable them to obtain a more comprehensive view of the world around them.
