Transcript of The Gorgon's Head

The Gorgon's Head
How was Medusa created?
Medusa used to be one of the prettiest girls in the city of Athens, Greece
Medusa challenged Athena, the goddess of wisdom, to a beauty face off
Medusa thought she was prettier than Athena, but she was wrong
Athena said to Medusa "That your fate shall serve as a reminder to others to control there pride."
Those words changed her into a monster
Medusa decided to live with the Gorgons, because she found out that she was one of them

Gorgon's Head
There once lived a man that had a daughter, her name was Danaë
This man was told that if his Danaë had a baby he would die
She turned out to have a baby and named him Perseus
But her father wasn't happy about that
He sent Danaë and in a box to the sea
In the beginning Perseus and his mother, Danaë, were rescued by a fisherman, who really liked Danaë
Perseus, was a young man and was very skilled with weapons.
In the beginning Perseus and his mother, Danaë, were rescued by a fisherman, who was the mean king's brother.
When Perseus grew up, the wicked king demanded Perseus to repay them for the good deed his brother did for them.
The mean king ordered Perseus to do a difficult task for him.
The Gorgon's Head Continued.....
As a result he had to obtain Medusa's head as a payment to the mean king.
While doing so Perseus was very worried and scared of what will happen if he doesn't get Medusas head
While thinking of a solution Perseus received Quicksilver and Athena's help to get the Gorgon's head.
When Perseus came back with Medusa's head, he showed the villainous king and his brother (the fisherman) Medusa's head and they looked in her eyes and they were turned to stone.
