“War Pigs” by Black Sabbath, is a heavy metal genre of protest music.
Released and recorded in the 70’s from the album Paranoid by Vertigo records.
The English band had created “War Pigs” by originally writing the song called "Walpurgis", dealing with witches and witchcraft.
Ozzy released the original version on his 1997 album The Ozzman Cometh.
Which lead to 5 different remakes of this song.

Vertigo records had claimed that this version of the song was too satanic
The title, lyrics and theme had changed to take on an antiwar stance about the Vietnam War.
Greezer Butler (Bassist) : "totally against the Vietnam war, about how these rich politicians and rich people start all the wars for their benefit and get all the poor people die for them."

(...)
Time Frame : 70's and Vietnam
Dates of the Vietnam War: 1959 -- April 30, 1975
This anti-war song speaks out against the horrors of war.
The Vietnam War was the timing struggle between nationalist forces attempting to unify the country of Vietnam under a communist government and the United States.
In attempt to prevent communism.
By commencing this war, the citizens viewed and had no way to win and led that the U.S. lost the public's support for the war.
Finally, at the end of the war, this was concluded as what not do to with future foreign conflicts.
Politicians in this time struck poverty/social inequality, heartlessness.
This political elitism and oppression lead in many conflicts such as untreated pandemics and the suffering of the innocent

Literary Devices
Generals gathered in their
masses

Just like witches at black

masses
Evil minds that plot
destruction
Sorcerers of death's
construction

In the fields the bodies

burning

As the war machine keeps

turning
Death and hatred to
mankind

Poisoning their brainwashed

minds
Oh lord yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out and fight?
They leave that role to the poor

Literary Devices
Time will tell on their power minds

Making war just for fun

Treating people just like
pawns in chess
Wait 'till their judgment day comes
Yeah!

Now in darkness world stops

turning

Ashes where the bodies

burning
No more war pigs have the
power

Hand of God has struck the

hour

Day of Judgment, God is

calling

On their knees the war pig's
crawling

Begging mercy for their

sins

Satan laughing spreads his

wings
Oh lord yeah!

Voice: High pitch and loud to promote effect.

I let go of the past,
All of my cruel thoughts gone at last.
Ripped apart by their destruction,
There's no gaining back this consumption.
Weapons and arms fire on the innocent,
No mobility, bodies struck a catastrophic accident.
Dearest loved ones cry in sorrow,
That they will not be able to see me tomorrow.
Ohh ohh ohh!

As the snake spreads its venom,
They begin to realize,
Everything they've created,
Will end in torn lies.
All that I've ever become,
Has been ashed and burnt by the unforgiving sun.
Kissing goodbye for the last time,
As I lay here preparing myself for the climb.
Ohh ohh ohh!

Woe this horrid place,
Hide me from this disgrace.
The world should be clear,
Yet I've become in fear.
Lower those down to Satan, who shed blood,
For their sins shall drown them six feet deep in mud.
Die this excruciating death,
For thou must feel the struggle for thy last breathe.
Ohh ohh ohh!
