Worldviews Conclusion And one more thing... we need to be aware of how our culture shapes us. your worldview is like a filter:
we are shaped by our culture We all have a worldview Where do our woldviews come from? What should our worldview be? Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewal
of your mind, that by testing you may
discern what is the will of God, what
is good and acceptable and perfect.
(Romans 12:2 ESV) you will find what you look for in life By our communities By the media We have to look to the Bible, and implement its teaching. Learn to hear. "Take God as he is, and ajust our lives acordingly." we need to learn to listen to God,
with open hearts and minds. God is always speaking, we need to be expectant. How do I know his voice? What may be stopping me from
hearing/ listening to God? We can't assume that we
will hear God in the same way Let all we do be opportunities for God to speak keep learning and listening,
the only one with the right worldview is God,
so we must keep listening. the problem with our worldviews Ultimatly it affects the way we see both God and ourselves It can mean that we put constraints on God. we go from seeing the full glory of God to seeing only part or even altering God to fit into our life. It shapes the way we see life
and therefore live it. How it can affect the way we see God,
ourselves and others we must keep striving to have
a Biblical and Godly worldview. So that we don't mix and match truth with lies and we can be a people after God's heart. By the education system -you need; a good job, to buy stuff, to get married... -that kind of music isn't cool, you can't have your hair like that... -beauty is size zero, MONEY!! stripes are out spots are in. -there is one right answer, Maths is more important than dance. Biblical.
God breathed.
God led.
Growing The way you view life will be how you will live it out. if you are told and belive there are boundries you will live within them. You can feel free in prison or life can feel like a prison pessimists can find the bad in anything and optimists the good. haters gonna hate.
