Law of Contract Remedies for Breach of Contract Suit for Cancellation of contract Suit Upon Quantum Meruit Suit for Damages Suit for Specific Performance Suit for Injunction when one party commits breach of contract, the other party can file a suit for recission of the contract to sue the guilty party. Damages are a monetary compensation allowed to the injured party for the loss suffered by him as a result of the breach of contract. when a person has done some work under a contract and the contract is cancelled, such party can claim remuneration for the work already done. it is the actual carrying out of a contract. it is an order of a court restraining a person from doing something which he promised not to do. Suit for Damages Ordinary damages Special Damages Exemplary Damages Liquidated Damages Nominal Damages Group Members: Tallal Hassan Sameer Bawa Tanveer Indemnity and Gurantee Contract of Indemnity Contract of Gurantee Contract by which one party promises to save the other from loss caused to him by the conduct of the promisor himself or by the conduct of any other person. A contract to perform the promise or discharge the liability of a third person in case of his default.
