Count week is when the state audits our school and determines the total number of students that are enrolled in the school. Schools in Nevada then receive funding based on the number of students they have enrolled. In order to be counted as enrolled, the student must be present during count week.
Have a Great Week!

This week's Math Standard:
Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals,
number names, and expanded form. Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and <
symbols to record the results of comparisons.
This week's ELA Standard:
Refer to details and examples in a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences from the text. (We will do this using fiction and nonfiction text.)
September 14-20th is Count Week
Any work completed from Saturday, September 14th- Friday, September 20th will determine if you are present for count week. Please be sure you are working diligently during this week and making progress in all 6 of your classes. You must have work completed in all six subjects by midnight on Friday, September 20th to be present. No exceptions can be made. Work completed on the weekend after the 20th will not count for that week's attendance.
What about after Count Week?
After count week attendance will return to being taken Monday-Sunday. This means that if you work on the weekend, it will count for your attendance for the week that just concluded.
This can be a little confusing. Please contact me if you have questions.
