Transcript of Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones

is a TV show based on the novel series
A Song of Ice and Fire
, written by George R.R. Martin.
Game of Thrones is set in an imaginary world.

There are two continents, Westeros and Essos.
Westeros is divided into Seven Kingdoms. They are ruled by the King of the Andals and the First Men, although they're also ruled by certain Houses.
There are many Houses in the world of ASoIaF, but there aren't many Great Houses.

These are the most powerful houses in Westeros.

The story revolves around the fight between these houses for the Iron Throne.
Jon Snow Rob Stark Sansa Stark Arya Stark Bran Stark Rickon Stark
Eddard "Ned" Stark Catelyn Stark
My favourite House is definitely House Stark. They are humble and honourable. Starks tend to speak plainly and truthfully.
There are also dragons in GoT.

Daenerys Targaryen, known as Mother of Dragons, gave birth to three dragons.

But with so many wars, the Westerosi forgot about the strange creatures beyond The Wall...
The Wall is a colossal fortification which stretches for 300 miles (about 500km) along the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms, defending the realm from the wildlings who live beyond.
The Wall was originally built to protect the Westerosi from the White Walkers, although they are now considered myths by most.
White Walkers are a mythological race who live in the Lands of Always Winter, beyond the Wall. They reanimate the dead as wights and make them kill the living.
A wight.
A White Walker.
