are animals that do not have a backbone or skeleton. Some invertebrates have an
exoskeleton
or a
shell
to protect their body. Other invertebrates have a soft body

have a
soft body
that is divided in many parts. Worms breathe in oxygen through their
moist skin. Worms
are
hermaphrodites

Arthropods
are invertebrate animals that have an
exoskeleton
that protects their body.
There are 3 kinds of arthropods:
INSECTS
Insects have an
exoskeleton
and their body is divided into 3 parts: The
head

thorax

abdomen
. They have
2 antennae
and
6 legs
. Most insects have wings.

Soft body
Invertebrates can
walk, swim, crawl
and
fly
. Some live in land and others in water
Snails
have a head and two
tentacles
and there is an
eye
at the end of each tentacle
Molluscs
are invertebrates that have a
soft body
and some have a
shell
. Snails, clams, squids and, octopuses are Molluscs
Molluscs
Clams
Octopuses
have a
soft body
and eight legs with
suction cups
or
suckers
. They have
three hearts
. Octopuses can change the colour of the skin to hide from predators or preys. They are
highly intelligent.
All octopuses are
venomous

Spiders have a body divided onto
