Flightless Bird, American Mouth - Iron & Wine
George and Lennie shared the idea of 'the American Dream', but this song represents what others are blind about to the true American Dream.
Wouldn't it be Nice - Beach Boys
This song represents 'the American Dream' that George and Lennie want: no worries, just happiness and freedom.
Three Little Birds - Bob Marley
This song is to remind George how he always has to have hope to never stop finding a steady job and have strength to take care of Lennie.
Hope - Jack Johnson
This song is for Lennie when he feels left out and he just needs his spirits to be lightened up. I feel like this is necessary because throughout the story, George wants to leave Lennie because of his special needs.
Come Away with Me - Norah Jones
I believe that this song represents what Curley's wife actually wants in a relationship: to be loved, just like every other woman's dream.
Hollywood - Marina and the Diamonds
This song is devoted to Curley's Wife's dream, which is to be an actress in Hollywood.
Unwell - Matchbox Twenty
This song is for Lennie and how his mindset probably is. He may not know why people think he's crazy.
I'll be There - Jackson 5
This song describes the relationship and brotherhood between George and Lennie. Despite all the trouble, George is always there for Lennie
