About Cats And Dogs Most of the people who know me
say that I am
a cat and dog lover.I chose this
subject because of that.
Now that you know why
I'm doing this prezi about cats and
dogs lets
get started!! Many people think cats and dogs can not live peacefully together. In fact, someone once coined the phrase “fighting like cats and dogs” and there is obviously some truth to the statement, as it’s been around for a while. Well, it’s true that some cats and dogs will not make good housemates. They are two different animals with two different distinctive personalities that will not necessarily blend. However, under the right conditions, many cats and dogs can live together in perfect harmony Sometimes cats and dogs react differently towards each other. It just depends on the dogs or cats breed and personality. For example in this video the dog(Murkin) has a gentle personality. In this video Murkin is playing gently with the black cats.
The majority of cats can happily coexist with a dog if they are given time to comfortably get to know each other. If a puppy and kitten are raised together, they generally will learn right away to tolerate each other, and some cats and dogs grow to be real friends, even playing and napping together Dogs vary greatly from breed to breed. The smallest breed is the Chihuahua. It weighs only 4 pounds and is 5 inches high at the shoulders. The tallest breed is the Irish wolfhound. It is about thirty-nine inches tall at the shoulder. The St. Bernard is the heaviest dog. It can weigh about 200 pounds. The Yorkshire terrier has hair that can be two feet long while other breeds may have no hair at all such as the Mexican hairless. The fur may be curly or straight. Some dogs have two coats. The outer coat is long guard hairs and the undercoat is shorter and fluffy. Cats have fascinated people for thousands of years; they have been linked with magic and luck throughout history
1.Every year, nearly four million cats are eaten in Asia.h
2.On average, cats spend 2/3 of every day sleeping. That means a nine-year-old cat has been awake for only three years of its life.i
3.Unlike dogs, cats do not have a sweet tooth. Scientists believe this is due to a mutation in a key taste receptor
