Transcript of Sandra Cisneros
Many people say Cisneros' work is very incredible. Her coming of age book, The House on Mango Street is a huge hit, however she is a very controversial author. Some people think she is too poetic, while some think she is poetic enough.
Many people have different thoughts and comments on the way she writes. Some people think that her writing may not be for suitable for little kids, and others think that her writing is pure genius. After reading a variety of comments, I have come to the conclusion that the majority of thoughts about her writing are more neative then positive.
Overall, people like her work. There is a lot of positive feedback on her website. On her website, people have written messages saying how much they enjoyed the book, and how it is a favorite book of theirs. Sandra even replied to some of them answering their questions and clarifying parts of the book. She is an author who loves her readers and appreciates their comments.
Evaluate whether you agree or disagree with her critics.
I agree with her critics because the book House On Mango Street represents Sandra Cisneros latina heritage. This also adds to how the book is unique from others. Both the negative and positive comments are true because the book could be for older people too.
