There are several types of country music
Western,Rock n roll country,Roots rock,Gospel and todays
Pop country to name a few. METAL VARIETIES OF LATIN: There are many types under Latin music, the 4 most popular are Salsa upbeat and great dancing music, Bachata with lyrics from the heart, love and heartache, Reggaeton from reggae sounds mixed with R&B and Hip Hop and Latin Pop, upbeat and good dancing music with lots of romance and passionate. ARTISTS THAT HAVE DEFINED LATIN: Salsas' best pioneer was Hector Lavoe, known as the voice or the singer, Celia Cruz, the queen of salsa and most recently Marc Anthony.
Bachata pioneers Jose Manuel Calderon, Luis Varga, Hector "el torito" Acosta to some of today's biggest artist such as Prince Royce, Aventura, Xtreme and Toby Love.
Latin Pop, some of the most recognized artist belong to this genre, from the old school such as Camilo Sesto, Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan to today's superstars such as Juanes, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Luis Miguel, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez and many more.
Reggaeton pioneers rapper Vico C and reggae icon El General considered "the father of reggaeton" Tego Calderon to today's worldwide superstars such as Daddy Yankee, Pitbull, Tito el Bambino, Wysim Y Yandel, Don Omar, Arcangel and many more. EVOLUTION OF LATIN: Salsa has evolve from upbeat african rhythms to an electronic fast tempo and exuberant energy to get people on the dance floor and into night clubs.
Bachata, from informal gatherings where people would just play for hours to some of today's biggest stars and pack stadiums, exploding in the 1990's, focuses on romance, exclusively with love, the heartache and disappointments.
Reggaeton from it's roots in reggae from the Caribbean to the big phenomenon that's become today, influenced by Rap and R& B.
Latin Pop first reached a global audience in the 1960s and old romantics to today's superstars with more up beat tempos and great dancing music but still with all the romance of the past. COUNTRY HISTORY OF COUNTRY: Started in the southern rural states of America in the
1920's.The music is mixed with Western and Blues with the traditional
musical instruments the Acoustic guitar,the Banjo and Harmonica. ARTISTS THAT HAVE DEFINED COUNTRY:The first country singer from the 1920's was Fidlin John
Carson then came Roy Rodgers and first female country singer Patsy Montana during
the 1930's & 1940's. Johnny Cash,Patsy Cline,Loretta Lynne,Tammy Wynette during
the 1950's & 1960's.Willie Nelson,John Denver,Glen Campbell,Olivia Newton John,Kenny
Rogers & Dolly Parton during 1970's & 1980's.The current Country singers during the
1990's and 2000's Garth Brooks,Tim Mcgraw,Faith Hill,Reba McIntyre Taylor
Swift and Toby Keith. EVOLUTION OF COUNTRY: Country Music has become one of the most popular music in the USA
and around the world,from the local singers from rural southern states from the 1920's
to music halls and local dance venues to sold out concerts, not only in America and around the
world especially Europe.The ballads from the love songs to the raunchy Honky Tonk Tavern
dance music,its enjoyed by all ages with their boot scootin dances ie Line dancing to name one. EVOLUTION OF METAL:
Metal started as the progression of Rock 'n' Roll to a sound with a darker edge in the 1970's. As the years have passed sub genres have emerged with different sounds or edges to their music. HISTORY OF METAL:
Metal started as the darker side of Rock 'n' Roll in the 1970's. This change to the usual sound of Rock ‘n’ Roll shocked a lot of people, but mostly people loved it attracting large audiences. Bands such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple were the trail blazers helping the momentum into this new sounding genre. As the years have passed different varieties to the traditional Metal have come out forming there own sub-genres and attracting varying fan bases. ROCK VARIETIES OF METAL: Within the Metal Genre there are several different varieties, the main of which are -
Traditional Heavy metal ARTIST THAT HAVE DEFINED METAL:
Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Led Zepplin, ACDC, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Killswitch Engage, Pantera and Metallica are artists that have defined the Metal genre. From the original makers of the new metal sound - Black Sabbath to the generations that have emerged to shape the Metal music of today - Killswitch Engage. Each has played their part in the shape and sound of the Metal music industry. Or maybe HISTORY OF ROCK:
Evolving out of the United States, rock and roll music originated and evolved from mixed racial influences such as blues, jazz, and country music in the late 1940’s and 1950’s.
Early rock and roll artists include: Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presly, just to name a few. VARIETIES OF ROCK:
Despite a slight downturn in popularity in the late 1950’s and early 60’s, at the time rock and roll helped music evolve into various different genres, such as surf and garage rock. Various historical events, such as the death of Buddy Holly are said to have been the end of the initial rock and roll era.
The emergence of artists such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Queen form the rock we know today.
Classic Rock, Grunge, Alternative, Punk, Ska, Emo, Heavy metal, Hard rock have all evolved from rock and roll. ARTISTS THAT HAVE DEFINED ROCK:
Artists such as Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis all helped form the institution of rock ’n’ roll, but it is artists such as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, ACDC, The Who, and Queen who helped evolve and pave the way for music such as that created by Metallica, U2 and Nirvana. Whilst early rock and roll included piano and saxophone, rock music from artists such as Elvis and the Beetles incorporated electric lead, rhythm and bass guitars. The creation of the ‘rock and roll revolution’ is also said to have initiated many historical events, including the civil rights movement.
