Jealous: Labrinth
What is the song about?
It is about a man that once had a girlfriend but she lost her, and he can´t stand the fact that she is giving her love to someone else. He also feels (as the song name says) jealous of all the things around her, because they are closer than he could ever be
Message the song tries to convey to the listener
I think that the song tries to tell us, not to give up in someone we love and that we have to fight for him/her. Because in the future we will regret not trying hard, and we will feel like if something in our lives is missing and we will be thinking in our mistake all the time.

Poetic sound devices (3 at least)
1. Assonance: The relatively close juxtaposition of the same or similar vowel sounds, but with different end consonants in a line or passage, thus a vowel rhyme, as in the words,
date
and
fade
.

"'I´m jealous of the rain
That falls upon your
skin
It's closer than my hands have
been
I'm jealous of the rain"

I found assonance here, because although they are different words, they have rhyme.

Figurative devices (2 at least)
1. Hyperbole: It is an overstatement or exaggeration of speech for an effect.

"Because I wished you the best of
All this world could give"

I think this lines have hyperbole because we don´t know what is exactly "the best of all this world could give" and maybe we couldn´t reach it because we would try to get more.

Are the lyrics written as lines of poetry?
Yes, because it has rhyme. Like in the following part:
I'm jealous of the rain
That falls upon your skin
It's closer than my hands have been
I'm jealous of the rain
I'm jealous of the wind

Althought not all the song has rhyme I think most of the parts does.
What does the title have to do with the song?
If not, how would you break the lines into lines of poetry?
Lyrics
I´m jealous of the rain
That falls upon your skin
It´s closer than my hands have been
I´m jealous of the rain
I´m jealous of the wind
That ripples through your clothes
It´s closer than your shadow
I´m jealous of the wind

Because I wished you the best of
All this world could give
And I told you when you left me
There´s nothing to forgive
But I always thought you´d come back
Tell me all you had found
Was heartbreak and misery
It´s hard for me to say
I´m jealous of the way you´re happy without me

I´m jealous of the nights
That I don´t spend with you
I´m wondering who you lay next yo
I´m jealous of the nights
I´m jealous of the love
Love that was in here
Gone for someone else to share
I´m jealous of the love

Because I wished you the best of
All this world could give
And I told you when you left me
There´s nothing to forgive
But I always thought you´d come back
Tell me all you had found
Was heartbreak and misery
It´s hard for me to say
I´m jealous of the way you´re happy without me

As I sink in the sand
Watch you slip through my hands
Oh, as I die here another day
Because all I do is cry behind this smile

Because I wished you the best of
All this world could give
And I told you when you left me
There´s nothing to forgive
But I always thought you´d come back
Tell me all you had found
Was heartbreak and misery
It´s hard for me to say
I´m jealous of the way you´re happy without me

It´s hard for me to say
I´m jealous of the way you´re happy without me
Here is the song..
The title tells you what is the song going to be about, so that you can be "prepared" for it. It is also a word that repeats several times in the song.

As I said before, I think that most of the song has rhyme and is written as a poem. So I wouldn´t erase anything, because for me it would change the meaning of the song
Imagery I found...
"I'm jealous of the love
Love that was in here
Gone for someone else to share
I'm jealous of the love"

The singer is referring to the feeling love as if it was something you can touch and "share".
Here is another example...
"I´m jealous of the rain
That falls upon your skin
It´s closer than my hands have been
I´m jealous of the rain"

The singer is telling us that the rain can actually touch her, referring to the rain as id it was a person. You can imagine a person that is touching her, but it is only rain.
2. Personification: Describing an inanimate object with human or lifelike qualities is called personification.

"I'm jealous of the rain
That falls upon your skin
It's closer than my hands have been
I'm jealous of the rain"

As I said before the singer is comparing the rain with a person that touches her lover.

The other...
2.- Consonance: A pleasing combination of sounds; sounds in agreement with tone. Also, the repetition of the same end consonants of words such as
boat
and
night
within or at the end of a line, or the words,
cool
and
soul
.

"t's hard for me to
say
I'm jealous of the
way
"

I found consonance in this part of the song, because the words in red end with the same to letters ( "a" and "y")
3.- Rhyme
"Because I wished you the best of
All this world could
give
And I told you when you left me
There's nothing to
forgive
"

I found rhyme here, because the words in red end with the same 3 letters and that creates a rhyme.
