Achieving Business Alignment/IT Strategy
Transcript of Achieving Business Alignment/IT Strategy
Capability Maturity Model
Hopefully you enjoyed the Presentation
OSS is not IT/Business aligned. IT/Business alignment is a necessary key for success, by increasing productivity and performance whilst minimizing unnecessary costs, allowing the business to reach more goals and ultimately increase profitability.
CoBIT makes Business aligned with IT by using the self assessment template to score the business.

The spiderweb Diagram shows,
OSS has a poor understanding of adopting CoBIT standards, but also gives a 2-3 year goal for OSS to achieve a higher ranking towards success.
Oz Software Solutions need to urgently look at increasing their understanding of IT Governance so that they can reach an optimal level of IT Alignment.
By simply adopting the models in which help identify and grade the current system, and set future goals.
CoBIT is a framework, but it isn't the answer, to fix the entire problem.
