An advertisement for any brand or company that appears in a sports venue or facility is considered one form sport marketing Most commonly, sports teams get heavily involved in Marketing their own team or product to increase profit, and bring in new customers Cory Spidell Department of Marketing Pittsburgh Pirates

Advertised in his local area, and was partly responsible for advertising in three western PA counties, including Indiana where he grew up.
Also took on ticket sales tasks.
3 time all-american cross country runner at LHU
recently furthered his marketing career to the healthcare industry.
still works in pittsburgh for UPMC, an afiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates
Who did Cory work for exactly? Franchise started in 1882, and have been named the "Pirates" since 1891.
5-time World Series Champions.
The Pirates have played in 5 different facilities in their history.
Notable players: Roberto Clemente, Willie Stargell, Barry Bonds, Bill Mazeroski, and Honus Wagner
They have minor league affiliations operating in Bradenton(A), Altoona(AA), and Indianapolis (AAA).
Currently operating under the lowest payroll in major league baseball
Career Requirements Bachelor's degree, and 2 years of related work.
Highly motivated individual.
The ability to work long hours, and sometimes hours that are not convenient.
Cory suggested that his prior internship with the organization influenced their decesion to hire him.

Husabnd and father of two
he has worked on other popular and famous courses such as Redlands Mesa, and Merion Country club.
Suprisingly has never golfed the course EVER Club General Manager Golf Course Management Scheduling and coordinating events
Overseeing the whole club in every area (security, Hospatality management, course management, etc)
Basically every possible area of the country club or course goes through the General Manager
This requires you to be able to think on your feet, and make crucial decesions.
