Final Destination
Problem 1
1. What is the level of performance in the pre-test and post-test of the control and experimental group?
It was found out that before the students was exposed to th Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs) their competency level on the least mastered skills was averag but after they were exposed to the Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs) they achieved a very high performance.

Summary of the Findings
The result of the study further revealed
that there was a significant difference on the competency of the fourth year students before and after the intervention was conducted.
Implications
Scale: Description
49-60 Very High Performance
37-48 High Performance
25-36 Average Performance
13-24 Low Performance
1-12 Very Low Performance

Presentation
Conclusions
There was a significant difference on the students’ competency on the Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs) before and after the exposure was conducted, hence we can say that the intervention helped the students to enhance their competency on the least mastered skills.
Conclusions
The intervention helped the students to enhance the competency in the least mastered skills
Problem 3
3. Is there a significant difference between the experimental and the control groups’ a. pretest b. post-test scores?
Table 3
Summary
In the pretest and post-test, scores between the experimental and control group do not differ significantly from each other. This shows that the two groups have the same level of performance before the intervention was given.
SIMs and the traditional teaching strategy are both effective in increasing the performance of the students in Araling Panlipunan IV
Recommendation
Teachers must be consistent in using innovation as an option of review materials to be used in enhancing the mastery level of the students especially in the National Achievement Test (NAT)
Thank You!!
very much for listening....
Insights
Although there is no significant difference between the experimental and controlled group in pre-test and post-test but there is a change or shift of interest on the part of the students towards the subject since the students are more inclined to a new technology, therefore using the Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs) with the aid of new technology is one way of increasing the performance and involvement of the students in Araling Panlipunan IV. Furthermore, the benefit of the audio-visual aids will help the learners with auditory and visual ability to understand the lessons.
Recommendation
Teachers should provide this innovation for the students to re-learn, re-discover and understand the topic or activity. The SIMs can improve the classroom management in terms of involving the students in the lessons. In addition, the students became participative during the activities because of the easy way of delivering the lessons with the aid of new technology therefore it is also interactive which can contribute in increasing their performance.
Problem 2
2. Is there a significant difference in the performance of the fourth year students in the pre-test and post-test of the control and the experimental group?
Abstract
This action research specifically focused on preparation, validation and testing the effectiveness of the Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs): A Tool on Enhancing Students’ Performance in Araling Panlipunan IV (Economics). The participants of the study were the 30 fourth year regular class students in Mina National High School, Mina, Iloilo.

It is a quasi-experimental type of research in which it sought to determine the level of performance in the pre-test and post-test of the control and experimental group.

It was found out that before the students was exposed to the Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs) their competency level on the least mastered skills was average but after they were exposed to the Strategic Intervention Materials (SIMs) they achieved a very high performance. It also revealed that the SIMs and the traditional teaching strategy are both effective in increasing the performance of the students in Araling Panlipunan IV.
