Character Traits and Proof Malala Yousafzai showed perseverance because of her ambition to become a doctor. Her determination did not allow the Taliban or her fear to prevent her from getting the education she needed to realize her dream to go to school. Personal Information Malala Yousafzai has been nominated for the International Children's Peace Prize by Desmond Tutu and the Nobel Peace Prize. She is the winner of Pakistan's first National Youth Peace Prize My hero is Malala Yousafzai she is 15 years old and she was born at 12 July 1997. Also, she is a Pakistani school pupil and education activist from the town of Mingora she is school pupil and education activist. There are many injustices around the world but in one country in Pakistan there was a girl named Malala Yousafzai she had risked her life so other girls can get education. Solution /Achievements In the April 29th issue of Time magazine, Malala was featured as one of "The 100 Most Influential People in the World. She has since been nominated for the International Children's Peace Prize by Desmond Tutu and the Nobel Peace Prize. She is the winner of Pakistan's first National Youth Peace Prize. Social Justice Problem The Taliban later said that they would teach a “lesson” to anyone who had the courage to stand up for education, freedom and self-determination, particularly for girls and women. On 9 October 2012, Yousafzai was shot in the head and neck in an assassination attempt by Taliban gunmen while returning home on a school bus In the days immediately following the attack, she remained unconscious and in critical condition but later her condition improved enough for her to be sent to a hospital in the United Kingdom for intensive rehabilitation.
