The idea behind the project
Southern Europe SMEs lack the knowledge to benefit from the e-Commerce potential.
Innovation
PECOS4SMEs will develop an innovative training programme bringing new types of organisation and knowledge about e-Commerce technologies and trends focusing on cross-border e-Commerce.
The training programme will be concentrated on transforming Internet trends into applicable tools for SMEs to change sales and marketing strategies.
Target Groups
PECOS4SMEs will target SMEs mainly from the sectors of:
Wholesale and retail trade
Manufacturing
Real estate
Construction
Accommodation
This project has been funded with support from the European Commission. This publication reflects the views only of the author, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.
PECOS4SMEs will implement a training programme to provide SMEs with knowledge and tools to increase cross border sales revenue.
Following the programme SMEs will change sales and marketing strategies and adopt new types of organisation and knowledge regarding e-Commerce technologies.
Key Objectives
An innovative e-Commerce Strategy “Genie” which will be at the core of the training programme. The “Genie” will prompt SMEs to provide industry specific data. Based on the input it will generate personalised e-Commerce strategies specifically for the SME to increase cross border sales.
The Consortium
Implement customised cross border e-Commerce strategies.
Understand the risks associated with online payments and reap the benefits of utilising the Internet as a revenue channel.
Integrate e-Commerce in business planning and innovation strategies.
Be aware of the European cross-border trade legislation and ccnsumer rights provisions.
