Transcript of anti death penalty

“Two wrong don't make a right”
The fact that someone have done something unjust or dishonest is no justification for acting in a similar way.
There are other ways to punish people for their mistakes. It is strange that a nation would denounce the practice of murder by committing the very same act. It is immoral that the government would kill people doing the same act and mistake that people are committing.

The race of the victim and the race of the defendant in capital cases are major factors in determining who is sentenced to die in this country.
Race of the victim was found to influence the likelihood of being charged with capital murder or receiving the death penalty, those who murdered whites were more likely to be sentenced to death than those who murdered blacks.
“Racial Disparities”
We simply cannot say we live in a country that offers equal justice to all Americans when racial disparities plague the system by which our society imposes the ultimate punishment. In every state that retains the death penalty, judges have the option of sentencing convicted capital murderers to life in prison without the possibility of executing them.
