Solidarity was the national movement against Communism. It was a Polish trade union federation that started on August 1980 at the Gdansk Shipyard.
The Prague Spring was a short era of liberalization in Czechoslovakia under the power of Alexander Dubcek in 1968. This event ended with a Soviet invasion and the overthrow of Alexander Dubcek

Velvet Revolution
The Iron Curtain Comes Down
The Velvet Revolution was a pacific revolution in Czechoslovakia that resulted in the overthrow of the Communist government. This event occurred in November 1889.
The Romanian Revolution took place in December 1989 and it began in the city of Timisoara. It resulted in the removal of the power of the Communist.
Fall of Berlin Wall
The pressure for reform disperse quickly across Eastern Europe in 1989. By November the Berlin Wall couldn't longer keep the city divided.
