Ideology In Everyday Life
Transcript of Ideology In Everyday Life
By Robert Caudle
BuzzFeed is probably one of my most visited sites, and one of my favorite.
I like BuzzFeed because it presents articles that are about pop culture, and overall random things, I'll include one that I thought was particularly funny.
BuzzFeeds Ideology represents humorous and positive values.
I chose this example because it shows a group of people with the same ideology coming together to make a difference.
This billboard was crowdfunded and placed within a few miles of the controversial Westburo Baptist Chuch.
The ideologies of this billboard show equality, free speech, and acceptance.
The Nike Ad in the bottom right corner represents many different ideologies, it is also one of my favorite advertisements.
This ad went viral, making it one of the most popular ads of 2012.
This ad shows perseverance, bravery, determination, and most importantly, greatness.
So What is Ideology?
Ideology is defined by Dictonary.com as: "The body of doctrine, myth, belief, etc., that guides an individual, social movement, institution, class, or large group."
Ideology can be political, religous, cultural, etc.
For this presentation, I found three different examples.
