takes up the history of the earth at the point where the archaeologist
leaves it, and carries it further back into remote antiquity.” - Bal Ganagadhar Tilak.

A tectonic plate which is also known as a lithosphere plate is a massive solid rock, generally composed of both continental and oceanic lithosphere. When Tectonic Plates collide against each other they create, mountains, volcanoes, earthquakes and trenches.

The word ‘Pangaea’ means ‘All lands’ in Greek.
Pangaea was large Super continent.
Pangaea during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras about 250 million years ago, before the component continents were separated into their current arrangement.
Alfred Wegener also observed that the more shallow an ocean, the younger its geologic age.

Divergent Boundaries- When Tectonic Plates Move away from each other

Convergent Boundaries- When Plates Move towards each other.(3 types of convergent boundaries that are recognized are: Ocean-Continent, Ocean-Ocean and Continent-continent)

Transform Boundaries- When Plates Slide against each other
Types of Plate Movement
These 3 types of Boundaries (Divergent, Convergent and Transform) all cause a natural disaster to appear.like Tsunamis, Earthquakes and Volcanoes and causes serious damage to the environment and to people.
