In order to become a Chemical Engineer, a bachelor’s degree is needed in chemical engineering where they will learn topics like field studies. Generally, it is also suggested for those interested in becoming chemical engineers to take math courses including trigonometry, algebra, and calculus in order to perform their job most efficiently
As a Chemical Engineer, one must apply the principles of chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics to solve problems that involve the production or use of many products, like medicine and fuel.
Chemical engineers start off as First-Level Promotion then they get promoted to Senior Engineer which is a big milestone for these employees because this demonstrates mastery in the field. Later they have the opportunity to become managers or supervisor.
Responsibilities of a Chemical Engineer include but are not limited to researching in order to develop new manufacturing processes, adapt safety procedures in order to work with dangerous chemicals, and learn to specialize in particular processes such as oxidation.
Chemical scientist need to poses skills such as
Complex Problem Solving
Decision Making in order to be most efficient in their field

Other Jobs They Work With
Chemical Engineers generally work in an indoor atmosphere where most of their time is spent at industrial plants, refineries, etc. A handful chemical engineers travel to other plants and work sites. As a Chemical Engineer, one must be prepared to work with other professionals, technicians, and other mechanics.
There are many different divisions for Chemical Engineering but for the most part they draw computer models, conduct research, and use that research to improve ways the products are manufactured, such as medicine and food.
