Obama's Quote
About the Education Plan
President Obama wants to prepare many Americans for the jobs of the future and help restore the middle class security along the way. The President's plan is to create a strong school system. He believes he will create a strong system by:
making college more affordable
preparing our kids for success
higher education
supporting great teachers
helping early learners
race to the top
connective initiative
Higher Education Plan
President Obama plan for the American children education after high school is to help them commit to at least one year of higher education or post secondary training. He wants to make college more accessible, affordable, and attainable for all American families. His idea consists of:
helping middle class families afford college
strengthening community colleges
keeping costs down
improving transparency and accountability
The Problems with the Education plan
Many believe that making community college free is one of the most ambitions ideas there could be. The estimated cost would be $60 billion dollars which would mostly be paid by the federal government but some by the states.

Others believe that making community college free is not a good idea because many high school graduates decided to attend a four-year college instead of a community college.
Early Childhood Learning Plan
President Obama idea for early childhood education is to expand the high quality of preschools. He wants to improve the quality and expand the access to high quality preschool to every child in America. President Obama's plan is to have a partnership will all 50 states to help provide all low- and moderate- income four-year-olds with high quality preschool, while also encouraging states to serve additional four-year-olds from middle-class families. He wants to establish this early learning childhood program to all children beginning at birth and continuing to the age of 5.
