Russia also exports many metals including steel and aluminum, chemicals, and wood

Although many people have left the rural areas of Russia due to urbanization, those who still live out of the city live in small villages

Most of the population live in West Russia because North and East Russia are so cold

West Russia receives the most precipitation. About 750 mm annually

The winters are very cold and can be as low as -30 degrees Celsius

The summers are usually hot and dry
Lake Baikal is a very large body of fresh water in Russia. It's one of the largest in the world.
