Haile Middle engineering
This what I have done on my E car so far
it may not be done but it is a work in progress. Boss extruded made this possible by making this 3-D
a
this is the engineering design process
Hello you saw my last part of my chasies well this is the next step to my chasies. It looks different because
This is after the chasie it is the axel and
I am almos done with it hope you can tell
that this is really hard.
Everyday I am moving forward and learning new things. Soon I will need to decide which career path I will take. As of today, I am interested in Nuclear Engineering now that I have learned about its properties. Did you know they use it in X rays? I know it is weird, but the computers in the nuclear engineering room are so advanced. I am thinking they need a skilled pro not someone like me.
If you want to be a dreamer you should just know never give up. I learned that you get tools that cool the system down. These tools will prevent a nuclear explosion. http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/cooling_power_plants_inf121.html
http://www.bnl.gov/radbeam/ This is where I found a little bit of my information
Design Squad could have used solid works for the grind box because they could go to right plane rectangle tool and then boss extruded because it is like the chasiss.
Design squad could have engraved the wood in their name so people would know they built it.
This is one of my three e-car wheels it was hard because I had to do
The x y and z axis are what make 3D possible. You can only do this in extruded boss. You can do that and make your dream possible. Now it is possible because of solid works.
This is my battery. I had to use extruded boss to make this battery possible.
This is the battery flip I made in solid works.
This is a motor mount I made.
The motor lets the E-car move.
1 The objective is to make reliable drinking water.
2 It is judged by the structural efficiency, and Hydraulic efficiency.
3 Structural Efficiency is how well it stands you can use the laser to engrave your water tower
4 Hydralic Efficency is the time it takes water to drain from the water tower to where ever it needs to be. It can help people get fast drinking water.
5 The cost efficency is how much you spend on your water tower.
6 Design ingenuity is how much imagination and skill you have.
7 There are 9 penilties.
The base of the model must fit in a square 1foot on each side or a circle 1ft.
The tank must be between 1.5 to 2.5 feet high.
The tank must have a vent or removable lid so air can escape and judges can tell when it is full.
When full the tank must hold between 1 and 2.5 gallons of water.
Your model should not leak
The model must use the 3/8 inch connector as supplied.
Bring receipts for all materials purchased for your model .A one point penalty will be given for each item not having a receipt.
Bring materials list . Three points will be added to the score if a list is not provided.
Models must be designed and built for this years competition. You may not re-enter models or reuse major componets from previous competitions.
Water Tower
Conduct some research and explain the phenomenon known as elastic collisions In regards to comparing wooden bats to aluminum bats.

The elastic collisions make kinetic energy put explosive power in a hit. Like when you hit a tin bat it puts more power into the bat
than a wooden bat. You may think that is weird. But did you know that a aluminum bat has more stored energy than a wooden bat. So that is why aluminum bats have more elastic collision force.
Did you know wind tunnels help planes fly and it interests me in many ways. I want to test one but I can't. I think astronauts use wind tunnels to fly the space ship and get more air instead of it falling back to earth. There are many ways to use wind tunnels. One way is to fly a plane . they test by seeing your resistance. Wind tunnels help scientists recognize problems.
Mike Rowe inspires me to become a part in the engineering world just like my teachers.
This is the assembly that you have to mate reference. When you do this it may not work so put it on manually.
This is the wheel for the back it helps move the dragster. There is another wheel it is coming soon...
This is the spacer used for keeping the wheels at a distance.
Cnc Manufacturing is easy. It is benifitel because you don't have to sit there all day and make it.
This is the finished body that you would have to extruded and us revolve boss bass.
My carterige is desighned on cuda country it matched what they did . Bit I don't undestand why I am still working on camworks.
These axles hold the wheels and keep the dragster together.

What is Career and technical education
Career and technical education is a chance to get grants and to know how to help familys and children who don't know what to do like fix computers and download software. Some make more than a bacherlor degree recpitent. In Tennessee CTE returns 2$ for every 1$. At a secondary level. 253,000 open in manufacturing.

Natural Disasters and how technology helps
Technology can help by giving an early warning. It predicted Hurrican Andrew. Technology for wheater was made in 1990 and ATP was funded.
When you see Hatie it is bad technology has been repairing it for 3 years.

TSA Update
Right now at this point the Haile Middle school team is working hard to upgrade the solar car and it is going well.
The compitition was firce and they had many modified cars. Since the sun never came out it was just a race of the strongest battery. The leader was genoures and let everyone use the battery pack. That cost the race but it was good sportsmanship and we can possibly win at states. It was really cool and though we won no awards we left with more having a great time and a learning experience.
The c-leg is a microprossesor that is controlled by the mind and muscles. The leg is able to control the leg and can let people see what there leg is doing. A great
part is that it can modify to the speed the person can run or walk.
Gear ratio

The gear ratio of a gear train also known as its speed ratio and velocity of input gear. The ratio is 1:3 for torque not speed. A ratio for speed is 2:1 which is good for speed but not power. The low gear ratio makes the motor go a little faster than normal. But high makes it go average speed with strong power.

Skills Gap
There is not enough people who know what to do for on the spot jobs.
