LeBron James
Before LeBron James had completed his sophomore year of high school, basketball scouts were discussing his chances of playing for the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before playing his first regulation game for the NBA, James had signed deals with Nike and other corporations for multimillion-dollar product endorsements. Before he completed his rookie season in the NBA, sportswriters were discussing his chances of joining the most elite players in history in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

LeBron began the summer after his sophomore year in Colorado Springs at the USA Basketball Development Festival. The first underclassman ever invited to the camp, he broke the festival scoring record with 120 points in five games and was named MVP.
At his next stop, adidas’s ABCD Camp at Fairleigh-Dickinson University in New Jersey, LeBron officially arrived on the national scene. Cooke, who was planning to enter the NBA draft, was completely overshadowed by LeBron, who took control of the camp. With a camera crew from ESPN’s “The Life” following his every move and college and pro scouts looking on, he flashed his full offensive arsenal and played suffocating defense. Up until this point, most had labeled him the next Jordan.
Selected in the first round of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers signed a contract extension with the Cavaliers on July 18, 2006 traded by the Cavaliers to the HEAT for a pair of first-round draft picks and a pair of second-round draft picks on July 9, 2010.LeBron James and Kevin Durant were named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month for March. Miami Heat forward James captured his fifth straight Eastern Conference Player of the Month award by leading the Heat to a league-best 17-1 record. The Heat chased history, winning 27 straight games before falling to the Chicago Bulls 101-97 on March 27.
