Motion Capture, also known as Performance Capture, is implemented as a technique in the animation industry and used for entertainment purposes. This new cinematic technology will facilitate and enhance the making of films. Prior to the mid 1980s, this technique was used for military purposes.

Pixar Animation Studios created this CGI animated film series and franchise. Much of Toy Story's success (1995) led to its successive films.

Halo (Video Game): first game of the franchise

released.

Halo became one of the most successful and popular game franchises in the video game industry. After its initial release in 2001, Bungie continued to release successive games in the Halo universe.
