Artifacts Seals Made of soapstone, terracotta and copper, seals give us useful information about the civilization of Indus valley. Pottery Pottery made by the Indus Valley civilization was well-crafted and sturdy. Ochre was used to color most of them. Jewelry Jewelry was valued a lot in this civilization. This was because they were good items to trade, and were great pieces of artwork. Artifacts are very important to us because they are some of the only clues we have about the Indus Valley civilization. Also, we have seen that they have been very interested in art. This making them an "artisan civilization" THE END
