So electric vehicles have the potential to support our economy and reduce our dependence on imported oil.

Also, Range is less of an issue than most think. Most Americans drive 40 miles per day or less

Future models will have 10 times this range or more. Variety and quality Right now, a Leaf costs twice as much as a Versa Fisker Karma Price: 96 000$ After 10 years on the market they only captured 3% on the sales The population simply won't pay 20 000$ more for a vehicule that doesn't go very far, isn't very convenient, and runs out of juice as soon as you turn the A/C on. The leaf accelerates more slowly than a versa and has only about 25% of the range.

The range of the leaf is supposed to be 100 miles, but Car and Driver magazine has made some tests and it’s doing barely 60 miles with a full charge.

If you drive in cold weather and you are driving a little faster than the average, it will shorten your trip to as little as 30 miles

Most of people can't even make it to their job and back home The electric cars are not the future. They might become very good, but for now there is just too many problems that comes with these cars that it would not make the world better, just poorer.
