Jacques Yves Custeau
His fault!
(my brother)
He owns a diving center in my hometown, Ibiza, so I started to dive with him
Scuba Diving Trips
I became a certified PADI scuba diver...
*PADI: Professional Association of Diving Instructors
And I started working at my brother's diving center, helping in:
-Equipment maintenance

How has scuba diving influenced my development?
The last stop of our family holidays in the USA was Key West
Once there, I dived at the 'Vandenberg' wreck, which is the second-largest artificial reef of the world. The 'Vandenberg' was an army transport ship built during the World War II
Gansbaai is world famous for its high density of great white sharks and whales
Being there and not diving was not an option...the adrenaline shot is guaranteed!
Cabrera-Balearic Islands
Cabrera Archipelago National Park, due to its isolation throughout the history, has a great natural value. It is very appreciated by the diving community
In 2009, my brother had the opportunity of filming a documentary about the diversity of the national park marine fauna. I did not miss the chance of accompanying him

Scuba diving is a dangerous activity, although it may not seem so
Safety is a priority and diving must be practiced with and a responsible attitude
Being in contact with nature has awaken my ecological awareness
To do my bit , I have participated in activities of waste and net collection underwater
Teamwork is essential to make the experience more enjoyable and dive safely
People of a wide variety of nationalities dive in Ibiza. This has helped me to develop my social and language skills
Diving usually means being under pressure (no pun intended!)
It is possible that some situations test you. You have to be ready to face them and keep your head cool
Green thinking
Also, working as a receptionist in the diving center has helped me to organize my tasks and time more efficiently.
Organization is key to diving safely.
Scuba diving is fun!
When diving, people sometimes are out of their comfort zone. If you want to gain their trust, your attitude has to let them know they are in good hands
This responsibility has made me grow as a leader
