Apostrophe [’]
In this example, an apostrophe is needed to indicate possession - to let us know , in other words , who or what something belongs to.
Half way through the tribute concert, all the bands fans were asked to leave , on account of their poor behaviour.

Is there only one band, or are there several?
Once we insert the apostrophe the answer to these questions become clear.
we can now see ther is only one band , and that all the band's fans were asked to leave on account of their bad behaviour.
Does 'all' refer to 'bands, or to 'fans'?
Without the apostrophe there is no way of knowing.
Think of the apostrophe as an arrow that points to the owner.
