During 21 month period a total of 17 young professionals from Tanzania and Europe will intern at Norway Registers Development AS and Norway Registers Development East Africa Ltd respectively. The project is divided into three rounds and the first round of exchange will take place from the 11th of August, 2014 to the 10th of March, 2015.

up to 20 new IT jobs in East Africa will be created;
most of NRD AS services will become accessible in East Africa as well as NRD EA services - in Europe;
increased collaboration and experience exchange between Norway, Lithuania and Tanzania;

Services that will be developed in Tanzania to provide local support to NRD AS projects in East Africa:
on-site critical IT infrastructure maintenance 24x7;
an IT service management solution - Service (Help) Desk, customized to support Swahili language;
information system development and IT infrastructure architecture;
system migration services;
cyber security consultations and services;
expansion of current portfolio of technology partners.
