how they are made, how big are they,and how fast they go. A hockey puck The diameter,the thickness and the wight of a hockey puck is 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick and wights 5.5 to 6 pounds This is my prezi about hockey pucks there will be allot about how they are made a bit about how fast it goes and a bit about the wight and length of the hockey pucks that are used in the NHL and shot by the best of the best. Intro Wan hockey was frist started they would use wood pucks or in some games rooks would be used but the final choice was to use rubber. how has the hockey puck changed Hockey are mainly made of natural rubber and a coal dust that is called carbon black which is the main puck filler of the hockey puck. It is also made of two oils, one is to blende more chemicals more thoroughly the other oil provide a high level of rigidity. Sulfur and a type of calcium carbonate are added for so that the rubber can cure. Antioxidants are added to prevent over time the breaking down of the puck. All of these ingredients make a puck to be used the player all over the world
