Iceland is a
large island in the north Atlantic ocean
. It is an arctic desert punctuated by mountains , glaciers , geysers , hot springs , volcanoes and waterfalls.
There is geographic feature , it is prominent at the
Pingvellir national park
. There is rift associated with mid-Atlantic Ridge , which marks the division between the European and north American tectonic , runs across lceland from the southwest to the northeast.
