To create a box and whisker plot, you start by putting all of the numbers in order from least to greatest. Then you have to find the median(middle number)of your data. Now you have to find the 1st Quartile..... The 1st Quartile is the median (middle number) in between your lowest number and the median of the data. Here is how to make a Box and Whisker Plot....... Now you have to find the 3rd Quartile... The 3rd Quartile is the median between the last number of your data and the median Now lets find the Lower Extreme... The Lower Extreme is the lowest number in your data Last but not least, the Upper Extreme. The Upper Extreme is the highest number in your data...... Here is an example of a Box and Whisker Plot....
