Transcript of NPHS Marching Band Competition

Double click anywhere & add an idea NPHS Marching Band Competition October 2, 2010 The Show will run from approximately 1pm - 5pm The show schedule will be:
Opening Ceremony 5-10 minutes
Bands in competition 15 minutes each
Intermission 15 - 20 minutes
Bands in competition 15 minutes each
Host Band in Exhibition 15 minutes
Awards Ceremony 20 minutes Show Time and Itinerary We Have Been Granted The Use Of Upper Krausche Field Access For a computer,
Printer, and Fax machine cafeteria, Overflow
room, the teachers room,
And Bathroom Facilities at
The Middle School Gym Press box and
Electricity at 50
yard line in case of rain,
the gymnasium for a
Standing performance Band Movement and Traffic we are requesting from the NPPD
for the closure of the north bound lane of wilson ave from rte. 22 to greenbrook rd.
walnut st. between grove st. and wilson ave.
From NPDPW, the use of barricades and cones for street closures and directional usage,
and the Rescue Squad to be at the event for any medical emergencies
Band member buses will use the parking
lot off of wilson ave. and equipment
trucks will use the parking lot off of
Greenbrook Rd. Bands will warm up on lower Krausche
field, then proceed up ramp between the
Maintenance garages and enter Upper
krausche field from the walnut st.
entrance Bands will exit Upper krausche
field onto wilson ave. and
proceed down wilson ave. back
To their buses. spectator parking will be
handled in a similar fashion
as the graduation ceremony Volunteers 50 parents have given verbal
commitments to volunteer
not all volunteer sources have
been approached at this time Rotc has committed 25 students
Interact has committed 15 students
Not all STUDENTS groups HAVE
BEEN APPROACHED AT THIS TIME we have the help of our teachers
and staff OUR GOAL: TO BRING RECOGNITION
AND RESPECT TO OUR SCHOOL
DISTRICT AND COMMUNITY
