Form a Network of Reliable Study Buddies!
Creating a study group can be beneficial to share notes, catch up on a missed lecture, and even just to have someone to quiz you.
Sleep Regularly and Maintain a Balanced Diet!
Maintaining a balanced lifestyle is extremely important in university! It's difficult to ace those midterms with an empty stomach and 4 hours of sleep!
Use a Day Planner/Agenda!
Every student gets a free agenda every year! Use this to write down assignment and exam dates to keep yourself on track!
Do What Interests You:
Get Involved on Campus!
Whether you are a resume builder, an activist, a leader, or just someone who wants to go out and make some friends, there is club or group for everyone! Have a new idea? Create your own group!
Figuring what you want to do for the rest of your life takes time and experimentation. Don't be afraid to take elective in other areas of study! Your academic advisers will help guide you along your journey through university!
Take Care of Your Emotional
and Mental Health!
Good grades and being involved are important, but your emotional and mental health is just as important! Take time for yourself to approach new challenges with a refreshed mind!
NEVER BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP!
There are various resources available on campus to help you succeed! You are the master of your own journey, but remember that the hard working staff at the University of Windsor will always be there to assist you!
