Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was born on October 26,1947 in Chicago, Illinois. Her spouse Bill Clinton was the 42nd president of the United States. They got married on October 11, 1975. After they married, they had one daughter named Chelsea Victoria Clinton. She is Welsh, French, Scottish, Native American , and English. Clinton attended Wellesley College, Yale Law School, and Yale Child Study Center.
Hillary Clinton became the 67th secretary of state in 2009-2013. She was elected to the U.S senate in 2001 and served as the first lady from 1993-2001. She also became the only American first lady to hold national office. She is a government official, U.S. first lady, and Women's Rights Activist. Hillary Clinton plans to run for president in the year 2016.
What makes Hillary Clinton a Renaissance woman is because of her charity work. She started 'The Clinton Foundation' which was run by her whole family
Some challenges that Hillary Clinton faced were that the men didn't believe in her. They didn't believe that she could win the votes for president in 2016. When she was younger she applied to NASA but was told that women were not allowed to work for NASA. She faced many other problems. These challenges may affect her running for president in the year 2016
