Grace Budd After offering a job to Mr. Edward Budd in 1928, Albert Fish visits his home then later tells the Budd family he has to leave for a birthday party and invites their youngest daughter Grace. They willingly except and after the two leave the Budd Family never sees Grace again. Albert Fish is convicted of the murder of Grace Budd after writing an anonymous letter to her mother on November 11, 1934 detailing Grace's death, six years later. Immediately after his arrest Fish confessed to killing hundreds of other children. In March of 1935 his trial began. He pleaded innocent by reason of insanity, after several psychiatrists described him as insane the jury found him sane and guilty. He was sentenced to death by electrocution.
