WIRELESS ELECTRONIC NOTICE BOARD USING GSM numbers.

Contrast to LED which has limited to numbers and few characters.

Ease of programming for characters and graphics. LCD Display: The receiving section’s system verifies password and sends response to the user and displays the text on the electronic notice Board.
Receivers contains:
Microcontroller
MAX232
Power supply
Bridge rectifier
LCD display Receiving Section: The electronic displays which are currently used are programmable displays which need to be reprogrammed each time a new notice comes. The process of reprogramming includes burning the microcontroller again and again. This makes it inefficient for immediate information transfer, and thus the display board looses its importance. Existing Model and Drawback:
By introducing the concept of wireless technology in the field of communication we can make our communication more efficient and faster, with greater efficiency we can display the messages and with less errors and maintenance. This model can be used very efficiently in establishments like chain restaurants wherein the order and special discounts can be displayed at all branches simultaneously, in colleges wherein students and staffs can be informed simultaneously in no time. It can be set up at public transport places like railways, bus station, and airport and also at roadside for traffic control and in emergency situations, it is cost efficient system and very easy to handle. Latency involved in using of papers in displaying of notices is authorized persons. Conclusion: Educational Institutions and Organizations
Crime Prevention
Managing Traffic
Advertisement Applications: User friendly: Messages are only to be typed on a mobile or a computer, which in turn are displayed wirelessly on the display unit.
Eliminates use of printers: Since we don’t use papers to display information, printers are also of no use in this system.
Faster means of transferring information: There is no delay in transmission of information. Messages are displayed in a matter of seconds after typing.
Long Range: As long as we have the required network coverage we can send messages from any part of the world. Advantages: Embedded C is a language for programming
microcontroller for embedded applications.

KEIL Complier is basically complier to compile embedded C programs.

It creates hex flies from the complied c program which can be burned in to IC Software to be Used : 256 K Internal RAM
32 Programmable I/O Lines
Three 16-bit Timer/Counters
Eight Interrupt Sources
Watchdog Timer
Power-off Flag
Low power Idle and Power-down Modes
Full Duplex UART Serial Channel
Three-level Program Memory Lock
4.0 to 5.0 Operating Range
8K Bytes of In System Programmable(ISP) Flash Memory Microcontroller(AT89S52) Features: A GSM modem is a wireless modem that works with a GSM wireless network. A wireless modem behaves like a dial-up modem. The main difference between them is that a dial-up modem sends and receives data through a fixed telephone line while a wireless modem sends and receives data through radio waves. Like a GSM mobile phone, a GSM modem requires a SIM card from a wireless carrier in order to operate.
Generally, computers use AT commands to control modems. Reading of message from the SIM card inserted into the modem is done by sending the appropriate AT command to the modem.
In addition to the standard AT commands, GSM modems support an extended set of AT commands. These extended AT commands are defined in the GSM standards. GSM Modem:
To Display their message on notice board, a user need to authenticate itself with the system by sending message containing the assigned password and the text to the receiver section’s SIM number Transmitting Section: 2. Receiving Section Design Overview: Fig: Block Diagram Proposed Model: The Main aim of The Project will be to design a GSM based electronic notice display. It is designed for displaying notices in college on electronic notice board by sending message in form of SMS trough mobile
This project is a device that collects data from the transmitting section , codes the data into a format that can be understood by the controlling section. Introduction: Introduction
