Transcript of Doctor Who

"Come along Pond!"
Traveling through space and time could often be very lonely, so the Doctor always seems to travel with companions . Near or far, they are always there to help each other out no matter how big the problem may seem!
An Adventure in Time and Space
Doctor Who had originally aired in 1963 starring William Hartnell as the first Doctor. The show was created by sydney Newman, C.E. Webber, and Donald Wilson. The current writter of Doctor Who is Steven Moffat. The show was originally aimed for young children, but actually captured a much bigger audience!
Doctor Who has one of the largest fan-bases in the WORLD!! Whovians or fans of Doctor Who are super crazy about the science fiction show as multiple episodes of Doctor Who have been premiered in theaters and have been sold out completely in just a few days. When the episode "Day of the Doctor" came out in theaters, it had made a gross income of $2.91 Million dollars!
An Amazing Show
Doctor Who has all the characteristics of a
great science fiction show, and what is a good science fiction show without any aliens! And no...it's not about your average stereotypical little green men running around abducting people! The show in fact features this alien as an, often British, man known as "The Doctor"
The Doctor isn't the type you'd go for your common cold. He comes from a alien species known as Timelords. He comes in all shapes and sizes, as everytime he is close to death, he regenerates and with it a new face! So far, The Doctor has regenerated thirteen times! The current Doctor is portrayed by Peter Capaldi.

50 Years of The Best Science Fiction Show Ever
"I bring you to a paradise planet two billion light years from Earth and you want to update Twitter."
The Doctor Who

Fans of Doctor Who are always changing and adding new and amazing things to the growing fan-base!
For instance, fans will often cosplay or dress up as their favorite characters from the show. The awesome costumes are often hand made but some people also buy certain pieces of clothing.
Fan Art
" I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear. I will always remember when the Doctor was me."
According to whovians from all around the world, Doctor Who is more than just a science fiction show...it's a family. Constantly changing and growing, Doctor Who makes viewers laugh, cry, and teach fans lessons about life and the world around us.
And now the adventure continues as Steven Moffat, the current writer of the Doctor Who episodes, continues to write great and amazing stories about the Doctor and his companions flying across space and time in his blue box.
The artistic part of the fandom is always creating new and different ways of seeing the show. Artists will also often include crossovers of different shows such as Cartoon Networks's Adventure Time or Disney's Gravity Falls.
"All of time and space; everywhere and anywhere; every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?"
