The University of Texas was founded in 1883 by the Congress of the Republic of Texas
It is a public 4 year university, it is 132 years old
Extra Background
The University is located in Austin, the capital of Texas, the colors are burnt orange and white
Their main rival is A&M, some famous people went there like Matthew Mcconaughey, Owen Wilson, and Michael Dell
Tuition
The in-state tuition ranges from $9,000 to $10,000 and out of state is $33,000 to $38,000
