James Shields Self-Intro Speech Name: James Shields Conclusion Hometown: Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania I am always in a good mood, or at the very least, try to be optimistic as much as I can. Characteristic #1: Cheerful When it comes to my family, I am a loving person. My family means so much to me, it wouldn't be right to me, them, or to God, if I didn't tell my family I love them. Characteristic #2: Loving Since arriving at Lancaster Bible College, I have been keeping in touch with my high school classmates and my friends. No matter what they are going through, I try to find some way to make them feel better, or let them vent to me, and let them know they can talk to me about anything. Characteristic #2: Understanding I hope that this next semester, and the next three years of college will be successful, and I hope to continue to grow in my relationship with God. Public Speaking Age: 19 Major: Pastoral Ministry I am very friendly and outgoing. I like to meet new people, and try to make friends wherever I am at. I also try to cheer people up when I can, or try to make people laugh, and even if it doesn't work, I believe that it is good that I at least tried. I also tell my girlfriend Katrina everytime I talk to her, I love her. We have been through so much together, and I feel God has given me a very special person, and that our relationship is a blessing. No matter what I am going through, I talk to God, but I also make sure to talk with my girlfriend. I believe this characteristic is going to play a big role in my career as a pastor. I love being around people, and I love to make people's day a bit brighter.
