Double click anywhere & add an idea voyeurism is the sexual interest in or practice of spying on people engaged in intimate behaviors, such as undressing, sexual activity, or other activity usually considered to be of a private nature. Voyeurism Lady Godiva (fl. 1040–1080), was an Anglo-Saxon noblewoman who, according to legend, rode naked through the streets of Coventry, in England, in order to gain a remission of the oppressive taxation imposed by her husband on his tenants. The name "Peeping Tom" for a voyeur originates from later versions of this legend in which a man named Tom had watched her ride and was struck blind or dead. NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A Dane studying at Yale University is facing criminal charges, including voyeurism, for allegedly showing his four roommates a video of himself and his then-girlfriend having sex. Ugh if they went out of there way to do it yeah I would give them some trouble about it. I would still think It was funny. Based on Durkheim’s Theory of deviance, voyeurists could be considered retreatests because they use really unnatural means to try to satisfy their sexual goals.
