What is GED?
Yakima County GED Academy
Why GED Academy ?
Prepare for the GED test Online
GED stands for General Educational Development. You may have heard people refer to the GED as the General Educational Diploma or the General Equivalency Diploma, but these are incorrect. GED is actually the process of earning the equivalent of your high school diploma, which is called a GED certificate or credential. What is GED? It's a chance to feel a great sense of accomplishment. It's the path to college.
You cannot take official GED tests online. You must go to an official testing center.

Who has a GED?

The GED Academy is a new kind of school, a GED® online school where everything is possible. To make it easy, we put everything you need online: GED practice tests, teaching lessons, books, and even your own private tutor. No matter how long it’s been since you were in school, the GED Academy online GED programs make learning fast and simple. Worried about making the commitment? You can pass by studying just one
hour a week.
It’s simple. You will get your GED diploma faster and easier than you ever thought possible. Going back to get your high school diploma doesn’t have to be a long process.
Most of our students get their GED diploma online in just 4 to 5 weeks by studying every day, or 3 to 4 months with just one hour a week. We help you reach your fastest learning speed with personalized learning. Instead of the one-size-fits-all classroom, we build a customized learning plan just for you.
