Biography The band Brandon Flowers Vocalist Mark Stoermer Play bass Ronnie Vannucci Drummer Dave Keuning The Guitarist Talk about music -"A Dustland Fairytale" is a tribute to the marriage of Brandon´s parents. -"My List" was write for Brandon´s wife,Tana. -"Uncle Johnny" it´s realy about Brandon´s uncle -"Bling"(Confessions of a King)" is a tribute to his father, Brandon. Discography The songs talk about -Brandon met Dave through a classified ad of the newspapers "Las Vegas CityLife" and "Las Vegas Weekly".
"He was the only one that answered my ad that wasn't a complete crazy", remembered Dave, about his first meeting with Brandon." He appeared with his keyboard and we just started to experiment some ideas.I had the verse of "Mr Brightside" and he came and wrote the chorus. this was the first song that we wrote together and the only that we play in every show since the first". Dave talking about when he met Brandon.The band started in 2002. Curiosities -The name of the band was create because the clipe "Crystal" of New Order. The Killers was the name of the fictitious band.

- Brandon conheceu Dave através de um anúncio nos classificados dos jornais Las Vegas CityLife e Las Vegas Weekly.
''Ele foi o único a responder o meu anúncio que não era um completo maluco",lembra-se Dave, sobre seu primeiro encontro com Brandon."Ele apareceu com seu teclado e logo começamos a vasculhar algumas idéias. Eu tinha o verso de "Mr Brightside" e ele veio e escreveu o refrão. Essa foi a primeira música que escrevemos juntos e a única que tocamos em todos os shows desde o primeiro". Dave sobre quando conheceu Brandon.

- O show foi horrível desde o início. O clube não tinha nenhum sistema de som, Brandon usava um efeito em sua voz na intenção de ficar parecendo com Julian Casablancas, mas isso deixou sua voz horrível. Ele desafinou muitas vezes e não tinha nenhum jeito no palco. Apesar de tudo, o som do The Killers chamou a atenção de quem estava no bar aquela noite.
-the show was terrible since the beggining. The club didn't have sound system, Brandon used an effect in his voice to look like Julian Casablanca,but this made his voice horrible. He went out of tune. He desafinou a lot of times and got emberrassed no palco.Apesar de tudo, o som do The Killers chamou a atenção de quem estava no bar aquela noite.
- O Cafe Roma, em Las Vegas, se tornou um ponto importante para a banda. Lá eles tocavam e ganhavam sanduíches e café de graça. O café citado em "Indie Rock and Roll" definitivamente é o Roma.

- O sucesso estrondoso da banda na
revista NME citou eles várias vezes, sem contar as inúmeras vezes que estamparam a capa da revista semanal britânica.
-The big sucess of the band in the magazine NME.This magazine talk about him a lot of times, and they splashed in the cover of the weekly english magazine.

Já participaram do sucesso da tv americana Saturday Night Live 3 vezes.
-The The Killers be famous in the world with your participation in the american series "The OC". Have participated of the sucess of american tv "Saturday Night Live" three times. -In december, 2004, they were nominated to 3 Grammys. Best rock song, best rock performance and best rock album. In 2007 they were nominated to Best Videoclip and Best Rock Song in the Grammy. Several artist and bands already done covers of "The Killers", like Coldplay, McFly, Seal, Fran Healy. The second CD, "Sam's Town", had it's name inspirated in a former casino in Las Vegas, founded in 1975 by Sam Boyd. -The original name of "Read my mind" was
"Little Angela" and "Bling (confessions of a king)"
was "Higher and higher". -"Bones" is the "oldest" music of "Sam's Town". It was written at the time of "Hot Fuss", with the name "It's only natural". -"I can't stay" talk about missing home. -"There is a majesty at my doorstep/There is a little boy in her arms" was Tana and Ammon. -One of the Brandon's brother born in the day of American Independence, july 4, as cited in "Sam's Town". -"Goodnight,Travel Well" discusses issues of death, and it would be a tribute to Dave's mother, now deceased. -The first cd of the band had 3 songs, including his biggest hit, "Mr. Brightside". -The band rehearsed in Ronnie's house. When the rehearsal couldn't be there, he used the studio of UNLV, where Ronnie used to teach how to play the drums sometimes, they would break into in the middle of the night. -the show was terrible since the beggining.
