1st: Old Kingdom (2700-2200 BC)
2nd: Middle Kingdom (2100-1700 BC)
3rd: New Kingdom (1600- 1000 BC) BUT... the numbers underwent changes The Egyptians used symbols for every 10! How did they count their numbers? 1 =Staff
10 = Heel bone
100 =Coil of rope
1000 = Lotus flower
10,000 = Pointing finger
100,000 = Tadpole
