TAKS Testing Made EASY
Transcript of TAKS Testing Made EASY
2 #2 pencils.... That's right...2! Hungry all the time? Not a problem!
Bring yourself a healthy (quiet) snack to recharge your batteries. TAKS Testing Tips
Read the question, and ALL answer choices before marking anything. If you don't know the answer, try making the most intelligent decision you can. It's worth a try! Find key words or phrases that will
help you choose the correct answer.
EXAMPLE: Why do fish have to pump water through their GILLS?
A. They use their lungs to get oxygen from the water.
B. They use their lungs to get carbon dioxide from the water.
C. They use their gills to get oxygen from the water.
D. They use their gills to get carbon dioxide from the water. Don't spend TOO much time on any one question.
Do your best, then move right along. Answer the ones
you know 1st, then go back and answer the tough ones. The TAKS test is untimed, so no sweat!
But.....pace yourself, so you will be finished
during, or by the end of the school day. If your arms get tired during the test, just RELAX your grip
on your pencil and give those muscles a break. However,
arm exercises... ...during tests are NOT permitted.
(May disturb your seat partner) Final Tips: Fill in bubbles fully, write neatly,
and erase stray marks. Double check
after every couple of ?'s to make sure
