Open House

20 minutes of reading a night
Conference with students individually about what they are reading.

Students don’t hate to read; they hate what they are reading. Let’s take the time to help every child build a love of reading.

Integrated units of study consisting of reading and writing, speaking and listening, and the English conventions
Various types of assessments to demonstrate learning
Discussion-based model where students learn to question, find their own answer, and support their own ideas.

Language Arts Class
Charged Computer daily
Ear Buds
1 ½” or 2” Binder shared with other core classes
Dividers (optional for organization)
Pen (blue or black) or Pencil
Loose leaf Paper
